Pay attention, He-Fans! Mattel has announced that this month’s Mattycollector sale is moving from next Monday the 15th to Tuesday the 16th. This is vitally important because that’s the day that Battle Cat goes on sale and, as you can see, Battle Cat is awesome.

So what’s on Justin’s desk? Today, it’s Battle Cat (yeah, we got one early), being ridden by my custom Justin figure, who is also a Green Lantern. Who says childhood dreams don’t come true?

What’s on Justin’s Desk? Today, it’s never too late to post Christmas cards when they’ve come from Lucasfilm, right? RIGHT? This year’s theme was “Ginger Clones.” Someone please go back in time and tell 10-year-old Justin that he’d be on Lucasfilm’s holiday card list one day. Cool, thanks.

What’s On Justin’s Desk? 1/4/10

For those of you who are friends with me on the popular social networking site BookFace, you’ll know that I do a feature during the work week called “What’s On Justin’s Desk?” where I spotlight an interesting toy or something else that’s on my desk, either permanently or passing through. In honor of FarePlay’s new home, I’ve decided to move the feature over to the blog – it should give you a semi-fascinating glimpse into what it’s like working for a collectible action figure magazine and being incapable of keeping a clean workspace.

So what’s on Justin’s desk? Today it’s an intimidatingly huge stack of comics I missed while I was on vacation (capped off with Amazing Spider-Man by the incredible Fred Van Lente), as well as the new Masters of the Universe Classics Battle Armor He-Man figure. I loved the hell out of Battle Armor He-Man as a kid, and I’m psyched to see him making a return in the new line!
