Lost Wish List Addendum: “What Kate Does”

So here’s the drill again: in ToyFare #152 (out in stores today, folks!) we take a look at the Lost characters we want to see in Bif Bang Pow!’s new toy line. But as the season wears on there’s bound to be other characters who take prominence and cry out for toys. So just like we did after last week’s season premiere, we’ll be adding to the wish list after every episode. But beware, spoilers below the jump!

CLAIRE LITTLETON

Claire was never the most interesting character on the island, nor did she really lend herself to many cool accessories (unless you count babies and imaginary jar of peanut butter as cool accessories…or “Where’s the bay-ie-bie, Chaahlie” voice chips). But apparently she’s spent the last three years on the island turning herself into a Rousseau-esque filthy badass (makes sense, since they both had children taken from them), so now she could come with guns and bear traps? Works for us!

LENNON

Imagine all the people…living life in peace. Imagine an other who kind of looks like and is named after John Lennon, and who translates for a Japanese guy who doesn’t really need translating. So if so many Lost characters are named after philosophers, does that mean that the writers consider John Lennon a philosopher?

Your Weekly Lost Wish List Addendum: LA X

In next week’s ToyFare #152, we have a big feature where we run down our dream wish list for Bif Bang Pow!’s Lost toy line, at least as far as secondary characters go (and where we confirm at least one guy who’ll definitely be appearing in the line). However, things change fast in the world of Lost. So we’ll be putting up a weekly Wish List addendum, featuring new characters from that week’s episode that we’d like to see in the toy line.

CINDY CHANDLER

Stewardess Cindy is one of those characters we always hoped we’d see again but kind of figured we’d never would. She was kidnapped by the Others in Season 2 along with some kids and hasn’t been seen since Season 3…until last night, when she was shown living in the Temple (NEW New Otherton) along with those same kids and a seemingly new branch of Others. This gives us hope that all of our wildest dreams will come true this season.

DOGEN

Dogen is a Japanese-speaking Other who seems to be the leader (or temporary leader) of the Temple. He can also straight-up kick your ass if you sass him.

BRAM

Bram, we hardly knew ye. The bruiser allied with the pro-Jacob forces made a name for himself threatening Miles and beating up Lapidus last season, but he was dead by the end of the first hour of the final season premiere. What a way to go, however: killed by Smokey with a stake through the heart!
